Job Description

As a Data & Quality Specialist (CPS) at GfK, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Consumer Panel Services (CPS) team in delivering high-quality data and insights to our clients. Your primary responsibility will be to match the CPS purchase database to the passively measured data and vice versa, based on an algorithm and improved manually where needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support in matching the CPS purchase database to the passively measured data and vice versa, based on an algorithm and improved manually where needed.
  • Improve database and coding quality to ameliorate the matching and classification for both sources (MyScan and Optius) of FMCG data.
  • Analyze progress and translate those findings into actionable next steps.
  • Collaborate with local Data & Operations colleagues as well as a broader team of data management colleagues internationally.
  • Combine working with different stakeholders to keep the project running smoothly.
Requirements:
  • Masters or Bachelors degree in a business or marketing related field.
  • Analytical approach but with a creative and innovative mindset.
  • Keen eye for detail in data handling and working with large datasheets, both numeric and character.
  • Advanced Excel skills.
  • Solid knowledge of statistical tools.
  • Fluent Danish language skills.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Proactive, can-do mentality that not only relies on the team but also yourself to overcome the challenges along the way.
  • First professional experience in Data Analysis is a plus.
