Assistant Category Manager

Maersk Group - A.P. Møller Mærsk is seeking a talented and ambitious Assistant Category Manager to join our Indirect Category Management Travel team. As a key member of our global procurement team, you will play a crucial role in procuring travel categories, driving cost savings, and delivering exceptional results.
Key Responsibilities:- Map and analyze travel data to identify cost drivers and opportunities across categories
- Create and optimize dashboards for internal stakeholders and Maersk leadership on travel spend
- Assist strategic decision-making through data analysis and daily feedback from stakeholders
- Execute tenders and projects, and provide operational support to internal stakeholders
- Collaborate with global Category Managers to drive category performance
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (Master's degree preferred)
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a sharp eye for detail
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and communicate across the organization
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and PowerBI, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills
- International mindset, with high-level proficiency in spoken and written English
- Service-minded and comfortable communicating with diverse cultures and levels of the organization
