Under the supervision of the Head of Group – Human Resource Management, the Expert – Learning and Development will be responsible for designing and implementing learning and development activities across the European Economic Area (EEA).
Key Responsibilities:- Learning and Development Framework: Lead the implementation of the EEA Learning and Development Framework, ensuring alignment with the organization's objectives and policies.
- Training Plan: Develop and propose a yearly training plan, incorporating classroom training, e-learning, coaching, and other learning settings, to enhance staff development and performance.
- Training Design: Design specific training programs for EEA staff, taking the lead on procurement activities, to address strategic competencies and performance gaps.
- Policy Development: Collaborate with the Head of Group HRM to develop and implement learning and development policies, frameworks, and guidelines.
- Staff Support: Provide timely and accurate information to staff and line managers on learning-related matters, ensuring a supportive and inclusive work environment.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Liaise with the European Commission and other EU stakeholders on learning and development issues, fostering collaboration and knowledge sharing.
- Surveys and Feedback: Conduct regular job satisfaction and 360-degree surveys, analyzing results and leading follow-up activities to enhance staff development and performance.
- Query Resolution: Respond to staff queries on learning and development-related topics, providing guidance and support.
The Expert – Learning and Development will work closely with the Head of Group HRM to ensure alignment with the organization's goals and objectives, promoting a culture of continuous learning and development within the EEA.
