Design for Reliability Expert Wanted
Vestas Power Solutions (VPS) seeks a seasoned expert in design for reliability to join our Converter & Electrical (C&E) Module. As a senior functional lead, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of Vestas' design-for-quality methodology.
Your primary responsibility will be to enhance and implement top methodologies in design-for-quality of module components throughout the development cycle. This includes guiding project design teams in Design for Reliability (DfR), reviewing and approving their work, and overseeing installed fleet quality improvements.
About the Ideal Candidate
- A minimum of 7 years of experience in engineering and quality assurance practices for product design.
- Proven knowledge and experience in Systems Engineering.
- A degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, with a focus on efficiency and fact-based decision-making.
- Proficiency in Design for Reliability, preferably with a 6 Sigma Black Belt certification.
- Familiarity with Physics-of-Failure modeling techniques.
- Experience in reliability testing and design of experiment methodologies.
- Competency in Tolerance Chain Analysis and Design & Process FMEA.
