The selected candidate will be responsible for managing our legal accounting operations in Denmark. This role requires a dedicated and proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently. You will have the opportunity to work at any of our offices in Copenhagen, Aalborg, Gothenburg, or Espoo.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage accounting and regulatory reporting in Denmark.
  • Oversee the monthly and year-end closing of the books according to Group principles.
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and reporting.
  • Support project accounting and revenue recognition.
  • Serve as the local contact for auditors and support in the auditing process.
  • Handle local registrations and manage country accounting material archiving.
  • Stay updated with local accounting requirements.
  • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain internal controls.
  • Responsible for country internal trade calculations and invoicing.

Treasury and Taxation:

  • Manage cash flow, including foreign currency control and reporting.
  • Serve as the local bank contact.
  • Manage foreign exchange.
  • Follow local tax regulations and lead cooperation with country tax experts, including annual tax reporting.
  • Ensure quality control over VAT, CIT, and TP.
  • Manage transfer pricing.
  • Manage related activities to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • University degree in economics, accounting, or finance/business administration.
  • At least 3 years' experience as a Financial Controller, Accountant, Auditor, or similar role.
  • Strong understanding of accounting and financial principles and regulations, including IFRS.
  • Experience with accounting and ERP systems.
  • Excellent skills in Excel.
  • Fluency in Danish or Swedish and English.
  • A proactive team player with an analytical mindset.
  • A commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
