Kerry Group plc, a leading global taste and nutrition company, is seeking a highly skilled Trade Activation Marketing Manager to support the rapid growth of its Foodservice business in Europe. This exciting opportunity will focus on accelerating the expansion of the Da Vinci Gourmet brand across Mainland Europe, with a key objective of doubling the brand's size within the next three years.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the DVG Brand team and Mainland Europe Commercial leads to deliver on brand growth ambitions and expand into 24 new markets within the next three years.
- Work in partnership with the DVG Mainland Europe team to shape market expansion strategies and lead the development of best-in-class distributor/importer onboarding and activation management.
- Build a sound understanding of market trends and consumer needs to tailor the brand and concept proposition to meet customer and market requirements.
- Establish effective relationships with customer marketing departments and work in partnership with customer marketing teams to build and execute end-user targeting activations to support a 'push-pull' model across Mainland Europe.
- Develop, tailor, and execute DVG marketing programs to support Mainland Europe customer activation, including existing distribution partners and new importer partners.
- Identify and develop brand-building marketing opportunities per region, in line with market expansion plans.
- Manage all marketing collateral and develop digital and print content for customer and industry events, adhering to brand guidelines.
- Project manage trade shows and events, including customer engagements requiring marketing input.
- Coordinate the preparation of customer meetings at the Global Technology & Innovation Centre and at customer headquarters.
- Gather beverage concept and market insights to continually build expertise as the company expands into new markets.
- Evaluate trade activation marketing programs to continually improve effectiveness and return on marketing investment.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Marketing, Business Development, or a related field.
- Proven track record of delivering above-market growth in a multi-market Trade Activation Marketing role.
- Previous Trade Activation Marketing experience, with extensive experience in delivering best-in-class customer engagements.
- Creative and activation agency management experience essential.
- Multiple European languages beneficial.
- Experience in managing Importer and Distribution partners an advantage.
- Experience in B2B or food ingredient industry an advantage.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to share information with relevant stakeholders.
- Ability to quickly grasp and become proficient in new concepts, ideas, technologies, markets, tools, and ways of working.
- An enthusiastic attitude towards effectively interacting with many different functions and serving as an active participant on a multi-national, multi-functional team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects from inception to completion, including the management of multiple stakeholders (internal and external).
- Good capability in applying quantitative and qualitative analysis methodologies, interpreting, and presenting findings in a clear, concise manner.
- A passion for actively engaging across the business, building partnerships based on trust and integrity.
Travel across Europe will be required for this role, with a home office-based setup.
