In Product Supply API, we manufacture high-quality active pharmaceutical ingredients (API) that are the main component in all Novo Nordisk products. Our Manufacturing Science and Technology department supports the manufacturing processes.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly adaptable professional with analytical, innovative, and collaborative skills to join our team in PS API MSAT Analytical Support. The ideal candidate must demonstrate expertise and the ability to excel independently and within a team.

  • Support chromatographic analyses using UPLC/HPLC and various chemical methods such as Karl Fischer.
  • Develop, validate, and transfer analytical methods to API QC laboratories.
  • Collaborate closely with stakeholders to support the development of new methods.
  • Optimize existing methods and analyze data from sample analyses for development or optimization samples.

This role requires strong collaboration skills, the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and collaborators, and professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a candidate with the following qualifications:

  • M.Sc., or Ph.D. in natural sciences or engineering (e.g., chemistry, biotechnology, or equivalent).
  • Experience with liquid chromatographic analysis development and validation (HPLC/UPLC).
  • Experience with analytical instruments and handling of data.
  • Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively with team members, stakeholders, and collaborators.
  • Professional proficiency in English (spoken and written).
About the Position

This position is in the chemical support team, specializing in analytical methods and support functions related to development, implementation, and maintenance of a broad range of analytical methods. The department plays a vital role in supporting the production and QC laboratories in PS API.
