Postdoctoral Researcher in Patient Communication and Education

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team at the Center for Research in Patient Communication, the Department of Clinical Research (KI), Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark (SDU).
About the PositionThis is a 3-year postdoc position with the possibility of extension. The successful candidate will be expected to start in March 2025.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct research and develop interventions to promote person-centred communication
- Teach effective patient communication with an emphasis on mindful and compassionate communication skills to pre- and postgraduate learners
- Contribute to research on how to best support the implementation of successful communication interventions in clinical practice
- Assist in securing external funding
- Ph.D. in Health Sciences
- Proficiency in teaching patient communication with an emphasis on mindful and compassionate communication skills
- Knowledge on implementation science and the successful implementation of complex interventions in the healthcare system
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in interdisciplinary teams
- Proficiency in Danish and English language
- Project management skills
The applicant who is hired must have a Ph.D.-degree and documented research experience.
