Key Responsibilities

As a member of the Cloud Enablement (CE) team, the Cloud Solutions Architect will play a pivotal role in developing essential cloud functionalities that ensure a secure and cost-effective cloud environment for our developers. Responsibilities include:

  • Designing and managing cloud landing zones, core accounts, and infrastructure-as-code and policy-as-code solutions in both AWS and Azure.
  • Enhancing security and compliance measures within the cloud infrastructure.
  • Participating in the DevOps operating model to ensure quality, implement test-driven development, and promote cloud cost governance.
  • Responding to support requests or incidents during business hours, collaborating with the team to create proactive solutions and automation.
Contribute to Team Success

This team is fundamental to the LEGO Group, providing foundational capabilities that facilitate the entire organization’s cloud adoption. We support numerous LEGO engineers, ensuring that the latest cloud technologies are accessible in a secure and efficient manner. Additionally, we integrate our services with the internal Developer Portal to offer product teams an innovative self-service DevOps experience.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate will possess several years of experience in serverless development within Azure and/or AWS, including expertise in functions, serviceBus, lambdas, and eventBridge, as well as familiarity with Azure Policies and Landing Zones. We expect candidates to have a solid understanding of event-driven microservice architecture and experience in building, deploying, and managing APIs.

Proficiency in Python, including clean-code principles, and experience with Terraform, along with frontend/fullstack development skills using React, CSS, and NodeJS, are essential. Familiarity with agile methodologies is preferred.

To excel in this position, candidates should ideally have:

  • A degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or Engineering.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools such as GitHub, GitLab, or ADO.
  • Knowledge of NoSQL databases like Cosmos and/or DynamoDB.
  • A growth mindset and a commitment to professional development.
  • A DevOps philosophy - "You build it. You run it".

Fluency in English, both written and spoken, is required as we are an internationally diverse team.
