The LEGO Koncernen is seeking a highly skilled Mould Design Manager Leadership Specialist to lead innovation and drive global excellence in mould design. As a key member of the Mould Design team, you will be responsible for supporting the external mould factory's performance and ensuring top-tier quality in every design.

Job Description

In this role, you will:

  • Drive improvements and development of base mould designs performed at our suppliers.
  • Define and drive process optimization initiatives in the business area, focusing on lead time, cost, and quality.
  • Oversee specific deliveries and quality for Mould Designs on the external platform, ensuring scope is carried out according to specifications.
  • Review and approve 3D/2D designs from external suppliers.
  • Evaluate contractors' capabilities and ensure they meet external standards.
  • Analyze and document design errors and update external constructors accordingly.
  • Capture and provide feedback on quality data using Siemens NX, Teamcenter, and Classification tools.
  • Foster robust design with a strong focus on Design for Manufacturing (DFM) and Design for Assembly (DFA) principles.
  • Contribute to developing future mould design standards based on the company's strategy.
  • Provide specialist support to production, mould qualification, and other collaboration departments to enhance productivity.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in mould design and analysis, with a solid understanding of CAD systems and 3D design software (preferably NX).
  • Excellent management and leadership skills, with a business owner mentality.
  • Able to foster positive relationships across diverse, global teams.
  • Dedication to working within LEAN principles to drive continuous process improvement and operational excellence.
  • Solid experience in plastic injection mould design, with a focus on quality and innovation.
