A postdoctoral position is available at Aarhus University's Department of Environmental Science for a highly skilled researcher in environmental chemistry. The position is part of the Section for Environmental Chemistry and Toxicology and focuses on Arctic pollution with organic contaminants.
The postdoctoral researcher will be part of a team studying chemical pollution in the Arctic, with a focus on monitoring of POPs in biota and air, as well as screening for CEACs in various matrices using target analyses and suspect/non-target screening techniques.
The successful candidate is expected to have experience with chemical analysis of environmental contaminants at trace levels, QA/QC of chemical analyses, and be familiar with Arctic pollution issues.
The researcher will be part of an established team with a strong focus on QA/QC and will have access to state-of-the-art research infrastructure and laboratories.
The position is part of the Horizon Europe project ArcSolution, and the candidate is expected to support Prof. Katrin Vorkamp's work on chemical pollution in this project.
