About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Digital Business Capability Lead/Director to join our team at Novo Nordisk A/S. As a key member of our Scientific Digital Capabilities department, you will play a vital role in driving digitalization and innovation in our research and early development organization.
Key Responsibilities
As a Digital Business Capability Lead/Director, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic digital initiatives that enable our business to focus on the right targets and accelerate the path to the clinic. Your key areas of responsibility will include:
- Developing vision and roadmaps for enabling and accelerating human relevant target discovery and translational research using digital technologies.
- Partnering with scientific and technical stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and resource future developments (portfolio management).
- Participating as a member of the portfolio leadership team, carefully balancing the introduction of new products with the retirement of old products and reduction in technical debt.
- Directing Business Analysts (internal and external) to understand business needs and product requirements.
- Keeping stakeholders (including senior leadership) informed on progress with strategic initiatives, and escalating decisions as needed.
About You
To thrive in this role, you will have a strong background in drug discovery/research, with a Ph.D. in Bioinformatics, Computational/Systems Biology, Genetics, or a similar field. You will also have significant product/project experience, e.g., as a Product Owner/Project Manager, and experience with scaled agile methodologies. As a collaborative and strategic leader, you will excel at communicating with colleagues at different levels inside and outside of the company and across disciplines.
