About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Head of Business Intelligence and Data Strategy to join our team at The Hub/Danske Bank. As a key member of our Finance team, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring a team of Business Intelligence Specialists and Data Engineers, and driving business intelligence projects with stakeholders across the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and Mentor a Team of Business Intelligence Specialists and Data Engineers: Provide guidance and support to develop their skills, foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the team.
  • Co-create the Business Intelligence Roadmap: Work with senior leadership to deliver proactive insights across the organization to drive business performance.
  • Drive Business Intelligence Projects: Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to focus on value creation, including servicing existing data products, prioritizing new requests, and ensuring end-to-end value creation and adoption.
  • Empower the Organization: Cultivate a data-driven mindset across departments and equip the broader organization to create value with Business Intelligence.
  • Co-develop the Data Platform: Work with the Data Engineering team to enable effective performance management across the business with high data quality.
Qualifications
  • Experience in Building and Managing a High-Performing Data Team: Proven track record of creating and executing on the business intelligence vision with a focus on value creation.
  • Experience with Cloud-Based Data Warehousing and Business Intelligence Tools: Strong understanding of data warehousing and business intelligence tools, such as Tableau and PowerBI.
  • Excellent Communication and Stakeholder Management Skills: Ability to co-create data product requests based on challenges faced by senior leaders.
