The Compensation Strategy Lead will collaborate closely with senior members of the Maersk People Function. This role is responsible for owning the strategic compensation agenda across various business sectors, acting as the subject matter expert to guide and coach senior leaders on compensation principles and frameworks.
Additionally, the Compensation Strategy Lead will provide guidance on how to effectively leverage and prioritize the available compensation elements to execute the strategy in the most efficient and impactful manner for their designated area.
Reporting directly to the Head of Global Compensation with one direct report.
Key Responsibilities:
Create sustainable and innovative compensation solutions that empower all employees and Maersk to flourish. Maximize the value of human capital by engaging employees and ensuring awareness of the compensation offerings. Ensure consistent and seamless delivery of compensation across the organization. Uphold and continuously enhance compensation principles and frameworks. Emphasize wellbeing and care to foster empathy throughout the organization. Collaborate closely with senior leaders in the Maersk People Function to advance the compensation agenda. Advise and mentor senior leaders on compensation principles and frameworks. Provide guidance on effectively leveraging and prioritizing compensation elements to support business strategy. Design, develop, and implement new compensation solutions that align with business needs. Oversee executive compensation in partnership with Executive Compensation teams. Collaborate with colleagues in the People Function and Compensation Delivery organization to ensure the comprehensive management and delivery of the compensation agenda.Qualifications:
Over 12 years of experience in compensation management. Strong expertise in compensation practices. Ability to collaborate effectively while maintaining a balanced and pragmatic approach. Business acumen with knowledge in finance and economics. A proactive attitude, active listening skills, and a cooperative mindset are essential. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
