About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Offshore Delegation Coordinator to join our team at Siemens Gamesa. In this role, you will be responsible for providing delegation support to line and support functions, ensuring compliance with rules and regulations in host countries. Your primary objective will be to facilitate global mobility processes by providing business requirements and supporting employees working abroad.

The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience with immigration and cross-border assignment of workers for construction activities in multiple countries. You should possess knowledge about posted workers regulations, social security regulations, and be willing to learn and adapt to new situations.

As an Offshore Delegation Coordinator, you will work closely with colleagues from different cultures and backgrounds, promoting a cross-cultural mindset and fostering open communication. Your strong written and oral business English skills will enable you to effectively collaborate with teams globally.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Provide fact-supported input to ENP process regarding immigration requirements, pre-investigation with Vialto, Posted Workers Declarations, Social Security, Tax, tax ID, Insurance, local vaccination recommendations, etc.
  • Create project in GM Tools, communicate with Global Mobility, delegating line managers, employees, etc., and initiate internal training
  • Draft process descriptions for operating models, develop instructions and input for training material, and maintain process descriptions/instructions
  • Prepare and execute applications, coordinate biometric, embassy appointments, passport expiry, etc., and support special cases
  • Application process tax ID, etc., and support employees with calendar, questionnaires, documents, etc.

Requirements:

  • At least 5 years of practical experience with immigration and cross-border assignment of workers for construction activities in multiple countries
  • Knowledge about posted workers regulations and social security regulations
  • Willingness to learn and ability to learn by doing
  • No direct management responsibilities but capable of working across different management levels and functions
  • Courage to defend decisions based on acquired facts
  • Strong communication skills
  • Capable of working independently, reliable, trustworthy, good listening skills, detail-oriented, persistent, and performance of high quality
  • Cross-cultural mindset and experience working with colleagues from different cultures
