Financial Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Controller to join our team in Copenhagen, Denmark. As a key member of our finance team, you will be responsible for managing all accounting activities and controls to ensure accurate and timely reporting.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver end-to-end financial accounting for 4 Nordic legal entities
- Produce statutory accounts and manage external year-end audit to strict deadlines
- Manage month-end close processes, including EPM reporting and ERP-EPM reconciliations
- Oversee order management and revenue reconciliations
- Lead quarterly IFRS package close (IFRS 15, 16, and 9)
- Maintain and improve the internal control environment and review outputs, including implementation of internal audit recommendations and ensuring compliance with Group/SOX requirements
- Approve payment runs and support cash collection activities as needed
- Manage tax reporting
- Review monthly results and collaborate with the Commercial Director on monthly supplemental information
- Develop annual budget plans and monthly forecasts
- Oversee key business systems, including maintenance of key financial information and structures
- Identify risk areas and recommend solutions to improve operating effectiveness
- Manage external relations, including tax, banking, and auditors
- Contribute to finance integration and transformation projects
- A suitable accounting qualification
- At least 5 years' experience in a similar role managing an overall finance function, preferably in a large, global, matrix organization with deep knowledge of accounting regulations (IFRS based; US GAAP experience a plus)
- Excellent system and process understanding, particularly experience with Navision, SalesForce, and/or Tagetik
- Results-oriented, proactive, and personable approach with the ability to work to deadlines
- Ability to work independently and as a team player, comfortable working in a virtual environment and multicultural setting
- Curiosity and eagerness to learn, comfortable working with complexity and ambiguity
