Copenhagen University is seeking a Senior Nephrology Research Professor to join their esteemed faculty. This prestigious position comes with a competitive annual honorarium of 212,087.17 DKK.

Job Description

The ideal candidate will possess a high level of original scientific work at an international level within the area of Internal Medicine: Nephrology. The professor's primary responsibilities will include research, publication, and academic dissemination, as well as teaching and supervision of post-docs, PhD students, and scholarship holders.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Conduct and publish high-quality research in Chronic Kidney Disease, with a focus on cardiovascular disease and Mineral Bone Disorder (MBD).
  • Teach and supervise interdisciplinary research teams, promoting knowledge transfer and collaboration.
  • Leverage national and international networks to secure funding and develop research collaborations.
  • Communicate research findings to the public through various channels, including media engagement.
