We are seeking an exceptional professor to join our faculty at the IT University of Copenhagen, focusing on research and teaching within information systems with a specific emphasis on business process automation and artificial intelligence (AI). As part of our restructuring process, this position will be anchored in a section from January 1st, 2025.
The successful candidate will engage in interdisciplinary research in areas such as organizational implementation of automation technologies, interplay of organizational routines and digital technologies, management of AI, human-AI collaboration, and organizational implementation of business process analysis technologies. They will also deliver excellent research-based teaching in these areas, primarily within the bachelor and master programs offered by the Business IT department.
A key aspect of this role is the ability to attract external research funding, supervise PhD students, and contribute to the goals of the institution through participation in committees and other initiatives. The ideal candidate should have a strong track record of conducting research and teaching in relevant areas, as well as experience in managing research projects and teams.
