About the Role:
As a Global Category Manager, you will drive purchasing projects from both a commercial and technical perspective. You will develop and implement strategies through close cooperation with stakeholders, manage negotiations, and maintain commercial agreements. Your role requires staying updated on the international metal market and following new materials, processes, and markets to be a professional counterpart to our worldwide suppliers.
Responsibilities:
- Development and implementation of procurement strategies
- Managing purchasing projects from commercial and technical perspectives
- Cooperation with R&D - testing materials & audits
- Negotiating and maintaining commercial agreements
Requirements:
You have a graduate degree in engineering or purchasing, relevant business education, or similar. Practical and theoretical experience in manufacturing component processes is highly valued. You should have several years of work experience and a good commercial track record, either from a purchasing and/or sales position. Experience in international negotiations and supplier relations (SRM) is essential.
