About Our Project

We're developing a 3rd-person science fiction adventure game with a realistic yet stylized art direction. The game requires a talented texture and material artist to bring the world to life.

Your Role

You'll be responsible for creating high-quality textures and materials that fit our art direction. This includes hand-painting key textures, authoring and enhancing materials in Unreal Engine, unwrapping and texturing 3D assets, and establishing material workflows and pipelines.

  • Develop a deep understanding of our art direction and create textures and materials that fit within it
  • Work closely with the art team and other departments to prototype materials and ensure consistency
  • Collaborate with artists, designers, and programmers to resolve difficulties and optimize performance
Requirements
  • Professional experience in 3D game production, working with materials and textures using major game engines
  • Exceptional digital painting skills and artistic sensibility
  • Experience with texture creation tools such as Substance Designer/Painter, ZBrush, and Adobe Creative Cloud
  • Great communication skills and ability to work effectively on shared projects
