The Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine offers a stimulating and dynamic research environment with many different nationalities represented. We aim to produce research with high international impact focusing on the functional cell, its genetic components, and molecular cellular mechanisms in a medical context.
We currently comprise five research programs, three high-profile Research Centers, and several international research groups. The scientists at ICMM are involved in high-quality research-based undergraduate and graduate teaching programs at the University of Copenhagen.
The position will be based in modern laboratories with dedicated facilities for flow cytometry, imaging, next-generation sequencing, and embryology. You will also have access to state-of-the-art equipment and resources.
We are looking for a highly motivated and enthusiastic scientist with a PhD in life sciences or a similar field. Essential experience and skills include mouse model generation and genetics, as well as an active interest in epigenetics, genome regulation, or gametogenesis. Proficient communication skills and the ability to work in teams are also essential.
Desirable experience and skills include mouse embryology, CRISPR/Cas9 methods, flow cytometry, and bioinformatic analysis of functional genomics data sets.
