Data Center Critical Environment Technician Lead

Job SummaryThis is a critical role in delivering the core infrastructure and foundational technologies for Microsoft's online services, including Bing, Office 365, Xbox, OneDrive, and the Microsoft Azure platform. As a CO+I CE Technician Manager, you'll be responsible for leading a team of subject matter experts in managing a large global portfolio of over 200 datacenters in 32 countries and millions of servers. Your team will support services for over 1 billion customers and 20 million businesses in over 90 countries worldwide.
Responsibilities- Lead a team of critical services professionals in delivering high availability assembly, manufacturing, and critical infrastructure environments.
- Develop and implement strategies to ensure the 24/7 365 shift rota plan is updated and the site is covered 24/7 365.
- Guide, oversee, and perform various types of maintenance and repairs following methods of procedure (MOPs) and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Monitor performance of maintenance and operations utilizing telemetry, control systems, and CMMS.
- Enhance, develop new, or follow preexisting emergency operating procedures (EOPs), methods of procedure (MOPs), and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
- Proactively ensure safety and security requirements are followed and met for the work of themselves and others.
