Lead Quantum Researcher in the Center for Quantum Technologies

The Technical University of Denmark (DTU) is seeking an exceptional leader to head its cross-disciplinary Center for Quantum Technologies, known as Quantum DTU. As part of this role, you will be responsible for coordinating and developing strategic initiatives across DTU's various quantum activities, fostering collaboration between departments, and representing the university at national and international levels.
We are looking for a highly skilled professional with expertise in quantum technologies and strong leadership abilities. Your excellent networking and communication skills, combined with your in-depth understanding of academia and project management experience, will enable you to effectively navigate the complex landscape of quantum research and innovation.
The successful candidate will join a steering group headed by DTU's Provost, collaborating closely with the director of DTU Nanolab and heads of departments from DTU Compute, Electro, Chemistry, and Physics. You will also refer to the director of DTU Nanolab, working together to advance the university's goals in quantum technology.

- Develop and implement strategic initiatives that drive innovation in quantum technologies
- Catalyze collaboration between departments to advance quantum research and education
- Foster partnerships with external companies and authorities to leverage DTU's expertise in quantum technology
- Represent DTU at national and international conferences and events, promoting the university's work in quantum research and innovation
- Coordinate DTU's participation in the EU Quantum Flagship and other relevant initiatives

Salary and appointment terms are in accordance with the collective agreement with the Danish Confederation of Professional Associations (AC). The position is permanent and full-time (37 hours per week), with a starting date as soon as possible (according to mutual agreement). The workplace is DTU Lyngby Campus.
