Postdoctoral Research Fellow for Mass Spectrometry-Based Proteomics

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated postdoctoral fellow to join our team at the Department of Biomedical Sciences, University of Copenhagen. The successful candidate will be responsible for investigating protein regulations involved in the pathogenesis of cardiometabolic syndrome using mass spectrometry-based proteomics approaches.
Key Responsibilities
- Investigate remodeling in hearts from animal models, patient samples, and cell systems using quantitative proteomics-based approaches.
- Identify molecular changes driving the disease state and contribute to the development of novel therapeutic strategies.
- Collaborate with a team of scientists across multiple scientific fields focused on improving our molecular understanding of cardiac pathophysiology.
- Contribute to the development of cutting-edge quantitative mass spectrometry-based proteomics, data analysis of large datasets, and integration of multi-omics datasets.
Requirements
- PhD in a relevant field, including but not limited to Biotechnology, Biochemistry, or Biomedical Sciences.
- Experience with mass spectrometry-based proteomics, including experimental know-how and analytical know-how.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both oral and written.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
