Role Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Renewable Materials Innovation Leader to spearhead our sustainability journey, driving the development of eco-friendly materials and ensuring their seamless integration into our products.

This pivotal role will play a crucial part in shaping our company's environmental future, leveraging cutting-edge expertise to develop innovative solutions that align with our commitment to reducing waste and promoting sustainability.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strategic recommendations for sustainable material adoption, collaborating closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to drive innovation and growth.
  • Lead the LEGO Group's enterprise risk management initiatives related to materials, ensuring we maintain a proactive and informed approach to emerging trends and regulatory changes.
  • Promote internal standards and definitions, guiding our work on sustainable materials and fostering open communication among stakeholders.
  • Partner with sustainable materials experts within your team and beyond, staying abreast of market developments, regulatory updates, and industry best practices.
Requirements
  • A master's degree or equivalent experience in business, engineering, materials science, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in environmental sustainability, preferably in top-tier management consulting or a similar role.
  • Proven project management skills, including organization, planning, and execution.
  • Exceptional strategy development abilities, with a track record of forward-thinking in a global corporate context.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate, influence, and translate complex concepts into actionable insights.

  • A competitive salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
