Job Description

The Compliance and Sustainability Manager will play a key role in ensuring that Normann Copenhagen meets and exceeds the evolving standards for sustainability and compliance within the furniture industry. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing a robust compliance framework, managing product data and certifications, identifying and addressing implementation gaps, and preparing sustainability compliance reports.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a comprehensive compliance program across all business units, including FSC certification, packaging regulations, EUDR, CBAM, and green claims.
  • Manage and optimize product data, certifications, and documentation, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Analyze legislation and identify areas of risk, providing recommendations for mitigation strategies.
  • Prioritize and manage projects to ensure timely completion and high-quality results.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as environmental science, engineering, or business administration.
  • Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards, including ISO 14001 and ISO 9001.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and communicate effectively.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced environment, with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
