About the Job

We are seeking an experienced Senior IT Manager to lead our API operations team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT leadership, excellent communication skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence and innovation within our organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure operational excellence on the shopfloor and across sites by developing a robust and agile delivery organisation.
  • Drive the IT security agenda across API, ensuring secure systems and solid processes.
  • Oversee API IT systems, ensuring high levels of compliance and Life Cycle Management (LCM).
  • Manage IT departments, including people, cost, and business processes.
  • Establish effective problem-solving, 24/7 support models, and management escalation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through LEAN management systems and technology implementation.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate who can fulfill most of the following requirements for this position:

  • A bachelor's or master's degree or equivalent in engineering or business and economics, with +5 years' professional experience as an IT leader or in project/programme management.
  • Demonstrated managerial skills, good leadership abilities, and thoroughly practised negotiation skills.
  • Broad network, organisational understanding, and ability to establish cross-organisational collaboration.
  • Proactive stakeholder management at a senior level, with extensive technical knowledge and experience within the area.
  • Elaborate pharma business understanding, experience working with senior management teams in PS or similar, and advanced analytical skills for analysing complex business issues.
  • Broad knowledge within IT and automation systems within the pharmaceutical industry, experience with LEAN management and tools.
  • Exceptional communication skills are required, and proficiency in Danish would be a plus.
