Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Marine Health, Safety and Environmental Manager to join our Nordic team. This is a part-time role for 30 hours per week with the possibility of full-time.

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing, maintaining, and continually improving the HSSE management system. You will also take QHSSE management function responsibility in Denmark, Iceland, Sweden, and Norway.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Drive and supervise the development, implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the HSSE management system, programs, and procedures.
  • Support managers on HSSE matters.
  • Monitor and report the achievement of HSSE KPIs.
  • Perform safety walks (office and field).
  • Investigate and follow-up HSSE incidents.
  • Cascade HSSE information.
  • Supervise management of personal protective equipment (PPE).
  • Validate environmental impact reporting.
  • Prepare and participate in HSSE internal and external audits.
  • Organize the HSSE management system review.
  • Coordinate with Head Office and North Europe Zone HSSE leadership.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Management, with a minimum of two years of relevant work experience in a similar position.

You should have deep knowledge of both ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 (qualification as ISO 14001 and/or ISO 45001 auditor is an advantage). You should also be willing to follow a Lead Assessor course.

We are looking for someone who can analyze and synthesize data, has IT tools and software knowledge, and has working knowledge in Health, Safety, and Environment Management Systems.

A strong focus on quality, safety, health, and environmental issues is essential. You should be able to work independently as well as in a team and have communication and presentation skills to motivate and inspire people.

Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience. We offer a competitive remuneration package, including benefits such as health insurance, pension plan, and paid time off.
