About the Role
The position of Automation Engineer DCS at Novo Nordisk A/S is pivotal in guiding new facilities from design to operational readiness. In this capacity, you will collaborate with internal and external departments as well as Engineering Partners to ensure comprehensive resource coverage for project tasks.
Your responsibilities will include guiding team members to ensure oversight and direction for issue resolution, collaborating with solution architects and automation specialists. You will also play a crucial role in preparing all departments for operations by identifying gaps within SOPs, training, and competencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify key risks, define requirements, and ensure alignment of process control systems and integrating solutions across the project.
- Support delivery, validation, and maintenance of process control systems.
- Create, review, and approve documentation related to process control systems design, operation, and maintenance.
- Collaborate with stakeholders, external partners, and other automation organizations.
- Lead employees through coaching, mentoring, and training in a technical capacity.
- Develop automation strategy in conjunction with other resources.
