Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Clinical Study Procurement Specialist to join our R&D Procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for driving category strategy development, planning, and execution in close collaboration with Category Managers and Senior Category Managers.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies for clinical studies, ensuring alignment with Lundbeck's line of business and management.
  • Manage sourcing projects and processes, including running RFPs, bid defense meetings, and negotiations.
  • Participate in lifecycle management of contract portfolios and strategic vendor relations, ensuring commercial and legal governance and value generation.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to secure project and strategy alignment.
  • Ensure clinical study quality, timelines, compliance, intellectual property, liability, and regulatory requirements across the contract portfolio.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3 years' experience in project management, preferably in clinical development or procurement roles.
  • Profound understanding of clinical studies, preferably from pharmaceutical development or procurement backgrounds.
  • Business partnering skills, ability to influence, and emphatic mindset.
  • Interest in building outsourcing skills, including project management, negotiations, legal understanding, data analysis, and category management.
  • Master's Degree from a relevant university or business school.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and structured approach.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with high drive.
