Veterinary Clinical Pathology Specialist

We are seeking an exceptional Veterinary Clinical Pathology Specialist to join our team at Københavns Universitet. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to take on a key role in our Department of Veterinary Clinical Sciences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting research, providing research leadership and management, teaching and participating in examinations, and leading the University of Copenhagen Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory. They will also develop the academic field of veterinary clinical pathology in relation to both research-based teaching and education at pre- and post-graduate levels.
This role requires a strong laboratory management background, leadership skills, and experience as well as active participation in research networks. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be fluent in English, and have a deep understanding of veterinary clinical pathology.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct research and publish scientific papers
- Provide research leadership and management
- Teach and participate in examinations
- Lead the University of Copenhagen Veterinary Diagnostic Laboratory
- Develop the academic field of veterinary clinical pathology
Requirements:
- DVM degree and Danish authorization to practice veterinary medicine or equivalent qualifications
- Postgraduate degree (PhD or equivalent) within veterinary clinical pathology or related fields
- Experience in laboratory management and research leadership
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Fluency in English
