About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled Global Trade Compliance Specialist to join our team at Organon ApS. As a key member of our Global Logistics Services team, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations for import/export across different regions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain knowledge of world-class import/export practices for translation to business optimization and efficiency opportunities.
- Provide strategic and tactical stewardship for global trade compliance systems and processes to assigned markets, partners, and stakeholder groups.
- Drive to 100% compliance with laws and regulations for import/export under a LEAN mindset.
- Work closely with regional experts across Technology, Quality, Regulatory Affairs, Operations, and Transportation to develop a global sustainable compliance process.
Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in International Trade, Global Tax, Logistics, or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 5 years of experience in an import/export role with knowledge of trade compliance processes and the interplay with global supply chain.
- Knowledge and experience in at least one of the following regulatory environments: Pharmaceuticals, Medical Devices, and/or Health Care.
- International trade business acumen including tariff classifications, customs valuation, license management, preferential origin determination, free trade agreements background.
- Attention to detail, good communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical business owners with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong oral and written communication skills in English.
