About the Role:

The Trade Compliance Leader will be responsible for ensuring that all entities of the Grohe Holding Subgroup comply with all applicable national and international Trade Control, Export Control, and Sanction regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and manage all applicable legal requirements and documentations of Trade Control.
  • Review and optimize Export Control processes.
  • Act as the regional Trade Compliance office for LIXIL, serving as a central point of contact for import, export, and trade-related issues.
  • Point of contact for third parties regarding Trade Compliance issues.
  • Responsible for the application and control of export licenses to the EU and third-country markets.
  • Develop and maintain internal Trade Compliance rules and policies.
  • Train affected employees of the Grohe Holding Subgroup.
  • Monitor export activities and other business partner constellations to identify potential Trade Compliance issues.
  • Define mitigating measures to address country or region-specific risks.
  • Ensure compliance with the due diligence process required for selected business partners.
  • Organize and support internal Trade Compliance Audits.
  • Regular communication and information on Trade Compliance.

Requirements:

  • Successfully completed studies or a commercial apprenticeship with a specialization in customs and/or foreign trade.
  • 5+ years of professional experience in a comparable position.
  • Very good knowledge of SAP.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office applications or equivalents.
  • Very good written and spoken German and English skills.
  • Structured and organized way of working.
