Job Description

We are seeking an IT Support Specialist to join our team in providing technical support to onshore employees through phone, email, and in-person interactions, ensuring seamless operations and efficiency. As a key member of our IT department, you will collaborate with other IT team members to work on IT projects and implement new solutions.

Your main tasks include:

  • Monitoring, managing, and solving tickets in the ticket system in relation to defined KPIs
  • Setting up and configuring new computers and mobile devices for employees
  • Participating in IT projects and initiatives as assigned
  • Documenting and maintaining knowledge base articles and procedures in the ticket system
  • Some contact with IT suppliers related to services, subscriptions, and similar
  • Daily purchasing and invoice administration related to IT equipment and services
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • At least 2 years of experience in IT support or other relevant position in an IT department
  • Preferable knowledge of systems and applications like the ticket system Fresh Service, Aruba Central, and PRTG
  • Experience with general IT hardware, software, and network troubleshooting
  • Experience with ITGC (IT general controls) related to SOX (Sarbanes Oxley Act) is an advantage
  • Experience from the maritime sector and vessel systems is a benefit
  • Fluent in speaking and written English
