Vestas, a world leader in turbine production and operations, invites you to join our dynamic team as a Wind Energy Operations Manager. This exciting role offers a fantastic opportunity to oversee the maintenance and inspection operations for our expanding fleet of turbines across Northern and Central Europe.



As a Wind Energy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for monitoring all operations within a group of sites, including internal/external blade inspections and maintenance operations. Your key responsibilities will include:




  • Oversight and facilitation of diverse operational activities spanning numerous locations and assignments;
  • Ensuring timely acquisition of resources, such as ships, crews, equipment, and supplies, maintaining the required standards of quality;
  • Planning to prevent problems and resolving emerging challenges;
  • Analysing, controlling, and mitigating risks;
  • Contributing to building and maintaining a good work ethic and team spirit in the department and the wider Vestas community.


Requirements and Qualifications



To succeed in this role, you will need:




  • Experience in a comparable industry or job;
  • Experience in supervising teams and supervisors of teams;
  • Proven background in orchestrating and overseeing operations or the deployment of installation projects, with a focus on offshore environments;
  • Familiarity with working directly in a hands-on capacity, potentially as a technician, or adequate experience to oversee the operational aspects of practical task teams.

Location and Salary



The primary work location can be Hamburg in Germany, Arnhem in the Netherlands, Aarhus or Copenhagen in Denmark, Szczecin in Poland, or Warrington in the United Kingdom. The estimated salary for this role is €80,000 - €110,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
