About the Role

As a Category Manager for Active Equipment and Partnerships at GlobalConnect, you will play a crucial role in driving strategic procurement and building strong supplier partnerships. Your expertise will be instrumental in driving cost efficiency, innovation, and stakeholder satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute category strategies in collaboration with business units to ensure alignment with GlobalConnect's strategic objectives.
  • Manage end-to-end procurement processes, including tender procedures and contract negotiations, to secure high-quality deliveries and foster innovative collaborations.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and suppliers to drive business growth and improve supplier relationships.
  • Implement the GlobalConnect Supplier Relationship Management Framework to ensure high-quality deliveries and foster innovative collaborations.
  • Stay abreast of market trends and provide insights to support strategic decision-making.

Requirements
  • 5-10 years of experience in procurement and category management, with specific experience with active equipment suppliers and partnership programs being an advantage.
  • Expertise in procurement best practices and supplier relationship management.
  • Strong understanding of contracts and contract management.
  • Excellent analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex information clearly.
  • Proficiency in business English.
