Job Description: Global Pharmaceutical Account Manager

  • Developing and maintaining long-term relationships with clients on a global scale
  • Creating customized solutions and providing full-line B2B services to the pharmaceutical industry
  • Based in Denmark, primarily focusing on the Nordic region
  • Serving as a one-stop-shop and offering top-level global logistical support

About the Team

The position is part of a team of 10 Global Pharmaceutical Account Managers spread across the world. As a key member, you will be responsible for managing Brenntag's largest pharmaceutical customers globally, as well as selected future potential accounts.

Your Responsibilities

  • Engaging with assigned customers on a global level, building a detailed understanding of their organization, operations, culture, capabilities, and strategy
  • Creating and implementing a global strategy/plan for your accounts, aligned with Brenntag's global strategy for the pharmaceutical industry
  • Collaborating with customers on global projects that cover all functions of the Brenntag business, including commercial, operations, value-added services, quality, legal, or any others that add value to the customer relationship
  • Coordinating and managing global projects, utilizing local expertise and knowledge in the regional structure to best present Brenntag as a global partner
  • Engaging customers at a technical level, involving appropriate technical experts from within Brenntag's wider pharmaceutical team when necessary
  • Monitoring and appraising the broader pharmaceutical marketplace

Your Skills and Qualifications

  • A natural commercial mindset, interested in building business by understanding client expectations and needs
  • Significant experience and proven success in account management or key account management within the Life Science sector, Food, Supplements, or similar industries
  • Experience and success in significant commercial project management
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, self-motivated and innovative
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, both spoken and written; local language beneficial
  • Willingness to undertake significant global travel
