Job Title: In-House Legal Associate

We are seeking an experienced In-House Legal Associate to join our Copenhagen-based legal team. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our General Counsel to provide support on various legal and compliance matters.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a law student or a recent graduate looking to gain practical experience in commercial law. You will be working 15-25 hours per week and will be responsible for:

  • Maintaining and updating various legal documents, such as standard terms & conditions, data processing agreements, privacy policies, and cookie policies.
  • Reviewing and negotiating simple commercial contracts.
  • Proposing contract drafting for standard terms and conditions.
  • Assisting with private and public tenders.
  • Maintaining compliance with GDPR and related privacy regulations, including conducting DPIAs, TRAs, drafting templates, statements, and answering privacy questionnaires.
  • Conducting legal research and monitoring current and upcoming legislations and regulations.
About You

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's program in law, or a Bachelor's program in law in Denmark, and relevant work experience.
  • Familiarity with commercial law, contract law, and the GDPR.
  • A 'can do' mindset with a strong desire to acquire new knowledge.
  • The ability to write and speak fluent English.
  • The ability to take on projects independently.
