Senior Director, Marketing Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Director, Marketing to lead our global marketing efforts and drive brand growth across all channels. As a key member of our Fiskars Group team, you will define and implement our global marketing strategy, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Strategic Leadership: Develop and execute a global marketing strategy that aligns with our vision, mission, and business goals. Refine target consumer segments and drive the brand's long-term positioning in the luxury market.
  2. Commercial Calendar Management: Lead the creation and management of a global commercial calendar, ensuring alignment with business priorities, sales targets, and key product launches.
  3. Team Leadership: Empower, develop, and lead a diverse and integrated marketing team, including Brand Marketing, Creative, Retail Excellence & Visual Merchandising, and Marketing Activation across regions.
  4. Brand Consistency: Work closely with the Creative Director to ensure that all marketing initiatives and brand communications reflect our visual identity and maintain consistent messaging across all consumer touchpoints.
  5. Cross-functional Leadership: Serve as the primary liaison between marketing, sales, eCommerce, and retail teams, driving cohesive execution of marketing strategies across all channels.
  6. Financial Accountability: In partnership with Finance, Merchandising, and DTC teams, set and monitor regional marketing budgets. Prioritize and optimize marketing investments to meet financial targets while driving impactful results.

Requirements

  1. 8+ years of senior marketing experience in the luxury goods industry.
  2. Proven ability to lead global marketing campaigns from concept through execution, ensuring alignment with brand and business goals.
  3. Expertise in cross-functional collaboration, working closely with Sales, eCommerce, and Retail to drive cohesive strategies.
  4. Deep knowledge of omnichannel and digital marketing, with a track record of leveraging these strategies for business growth.
  5. Fluency in English, our working language, required. Danish is a plus.
  6. Master's degree in Business Administration or related field.
