Human Decision-Making PhD Position in Transport Systems

Required Qualifications

To be considered for this PhD position, you must have a two-year master's degree (120 ECTS points) or a similar degree with an academic level equivalent to a two-year master's degree. Specifically, we seek applicants with a master's degree in economics, neuroeconomics, behavioural economics, behavioural science, psychology, cognitive psychology, human-centric computing, human-computer interaction, human factors, transport science, urban studies, architecture or similar.

In addition, you should meet the following requirements:

  1. Excellent quantitative and analytical skills.
  2. Interest in human decision-making and behavioural science.
  3. Experience in statistical modelling and data analysis; ideally experience with quantitative models of human decision-making such as discrete choice models, sequential sampling models or similar.
  4. Proficiency in a programming language such as Python, Julia or R for data analysis and model development.
