Senior Manager for Digital Transformation in Embedded Hardware

About the Role
As a Senior Manager, you will be responsible for leading a team of 11 employees and 5 external consultants developing state-of-the-art embedded HW solutions. Your focus will be on streamlining the design process and defining core and third-party elements to accelerate digital transformation.
Specifically, your responsibilities will include providing technical direction and solutions for embedded HW as well as power supply strategies for both mains and solar-driven products. You will also create and communicate a compelling vision for change, lead the execution of strategic initiatives with MDM across to secure cross-transformational change, and transform innovative balance in the hardware portfolio to have better balance with Technology, NPL, Cost out, Sustainability, and Quality and maintenance tasks.
You will define HW architecture and sourcing strategy, encourage and inspire team members to take ownership of architectural decisions, and improve operational efficiency via automation while reducing complexity in the product program. Additionally, you will monitor progress and adjust tactical plans accordingly, securing data-driven decisions in the portfolio.
About You
To be successful in this role, you should have worked intensively with change management, digital transformation, and have a good understanding of systems engineering. You should also have a proven track record of leading embedded hardware and power supply teams optimizing architectural design, scaling via partnerships on hardware design, and bringing a mix of practical experience and theoretical toolbox within Embedded hardware design, systems engineering, and hardware architecture.
You should be able to work effectively and efficiently in an environment where resistance to change may be present, and where we progress by obtaining support for the transformation on all levels of the organization. Additionally, you should speak and write English proficiently.

We offer a competitive salary, estimated at $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications.
