Job Description

As our Chief Ethics and Human Rights Strategist, you will lead the development and implementation of our ethics and human rights programs, ensuring alignment with our company values and international standards. Your expertise will be crucial in shaping our approach to corporate compliance, governance, and sustainability.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including HR, Communications, and Procurement, to integrate ethics and human rights into our global operations. This includes developing and overseeing Human Rights Due Diligence processes, coordinating with external organizations, and representing Danfoss in relevant forums.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Ensuring compliance with human rights-related legislation and exceeding customer expectations to create business opportunities
  • Developing and implementing Human Rights Due Diligence processes and monitoring their effectiveness
  • Coordinating with stakeholders across departments to integrate ethics and human rights into our global operations
  • Representing Danfoss in external human rights organizations and handling internal complaints related to ethics and human rights
Required Skills and Qualifications

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A Master's degree in international law, international politics, or a related field
  • Several years of experience in cross-organizational management, preferably within a large corporation
  • Experience in corporate compliance, governance, sustainability, and knowledge of international human rights frameworks (e.g., UN Global Compact, Modern Slavery Acts)
