Welcome to the Department of Cellular and Molecular Medicine at the University of Copenhagen, where we are seeking a research scientist in mouse genetics and epigenomics As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to cutting-edge research projects focused on understanding the role of the epigenome in germ cells and developing novel experimental strategies for studying gametogenesis.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and conducting experiments, analyzing complex datasets, and communicating your findings through high-quality scientific manuscripts. Additionally, you will collaborate with our team to develop new research ideas and approaches, participate in grant writing and grant management, and contribute to outreach communication activities.

We are seeking a candidate with a PhD in life sciences or a related field, experience in mouse model generation and genetics, and an active interest in epigenetics, genome regulation, or gametogenesis. Additional desirable skills include experience in mouse embryology, embryonic stem cell culture, CRISPR/Cas9 methods, flow cytometry, bioinformatic analysis, and apoptosis.

Responsibilities:
