Job Description

We are looking for an exceptional individual to contribute to ongoing projects related to breeding plan development in livestock and insect species. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering innovative research of international standard, significantly contributing to new project proposals, actively publishing high-quality research, and collaborating with a diverse group of researchers both internally and internationally.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • PhD in quantitative genetics and animal breeding with proven research experience, backed by 2-4 years of relevant postdoctoral experience.
  • Clear record of scientific impact and high-quality contributions to the field, including publications, presentations, book chapters, reports, patents, and scientific outreach activities.
  • Track record of securing research funding.
  • Excellent communication skills to communicate complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences.
  • Possesses proficiency in at least one programming language.
Benefits

Aarhus Universitet offers a competitive salary range, approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on seniority.
