About the Role

We're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chief Office Operations Manager to join our team at Zendesk in Copenhagen. This is a full-time, office-based position.

In this role, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional service to employees, customers, and guests. You'll thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and lead with a positive attitude. Your goal will be to create a seamless and efficient experience for everyone who interacts with our office.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Office Front Desk Management: Manage daily reception duties, ensuring a professional and welcoming atmosphere for all visitors.
  • Site Operations Leadership: Oversee onsite workplace operations, including managing vendors and contractors to ensure smooth day-to-day activities.
  • Customer Service: Provide top-notch customer service to employees, responding promptly to their queries and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Ticketing System Management: Manage the ticketing system and office help center, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and operational efficiency.
  • Vendor Supply Chain Management: Oversee the management of vendor supply chains for services such as cleaning, security, maintenance, pest control, and waste management.
  • Procurement Partnerships: Partner with internal teams and external vendors to deliver events and programs for employees, including wellness initiatives.
  • Financial Management: Manage the workplace operational budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and financial prudence.
  • Audit and Compliance: Implement regular walk-throughs and audits of the office, including health and safety inspections.

This role requires a strong ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and maintain accuracy while working under pressure. As a key member of our team, you'll be expected to embody our company values and contribute to creating a positive work environment.

Requirements:
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a fast-paced Workplace/facilities role in a tech environment.
  • Knowledge base of HVAC systems essential.
  • Excellent communication skills across employees at all levels within the organization.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple tasks with little or no supervision but know when to escalate and collaborate.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a positive attitude.
  • Punctual and accountable, with accurate and organized record-keeping.
  • Fluent English (C1 or C2) and Danish.
Estimate Salary:

DHKKR22/DKK64,500 - DKK84,300 per month (pre-tax), based on local market conditions and comparable positions.
