About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Risk Governance Vendor Manager to join our team at Mastercard Payment Services Denmark A/S. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for performing risk assessments of suppliers and other third parties to ensure compliance with Mastercard's standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Risk Assessments: Conduct thorough risk assessments of suppliers and third parties to identify potential risks and ensure compliance with Mastercard's standards.
  • Vendor Performance Monitoring: Monitor the ongoing performance of vendors and suppliers to ensure they meet Mastercard's requirements.
  • Engagement Evaluation: Evaluate requests for new or modified third-party engagements and prioritize based on various risk factors.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Collaborate with business requestors, sourcing or legal team members, and other TPRM team members to ensure a thorough understanding of engagements and associated risks.
  • Adherence Assessment: Ensure and assess third-party adherence to Mastercard's standards and contractual requirements by performing remote and/or on-site assessments.
  • Gaps Identification and Documentation: Identify gaps or issues based on Mastercard's third-party standards and document them to enable other TPRM colleagues and business relationship managers to evaluate and develop appropriate action plans.

Requirements

  • Education and Experience: Possession of a bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience, with a minimum of two years of relevant experience.
  • Risk Management Skills: A demonstrated ability to apply a risk-based mindset, continuously identifying and prioritizing areas of significant concern.
  • Proficiency in Risk Management Frameworks: Proficiency in risk management frameworks and processes, with a preference for experience in the financial services industry and payment processing.
  • Operational Knowledge of GRC Tools: A proven understanding and operational knowledge of GRC tools, including the ability to navigate, update, and perform data entry tasks.
  • Collaboration and Communication Skills: An acute sense of urgency coupled with a results-oriented approach, exemplary organizational and interpersonal skills, and a track record of building and maintaining professional relationships.
  • Adaptability and Flexibility: The capacity to swiftly adapt to changes, manage ambiguity with ease, and successfully execute multiple concurrent tasks.
  • Technical Skills: A working knowledge of contemporary workplace productivity and collaboration tools, with a particular emphasis on Microsoft Office 365 suite, including SharePoint, Excel, and Teams.
