This Humanitarian Response Leader position at Folkekirkens Nødhjælp requires a highly skilled individual to lead the implementation of humanitarian programmes in various locations.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Implementing protection projects according to the overall protection strategy, harmonised approaches, SOPs, and technical guides on General Protection and GBV
  • Guiding Protection Team Leaders to ensure quality in protection deliverables
  • Providing capacity building to DCA staff and partners in collaboration with the technical line manager

The successful candidate will also ensure good management with the team, adhering to DCA policies, clear communication, and ensuring clear roles and responsibilities within the team.

A bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field and at least 3-5 years of experience in the protection field are required. The candidate should have experience in protection monitoring, case management, community-based protection, and/or GBV, as well as familiarity with people management and project management.

Excellent writing and editing skills, experience producing high-quality technical material, and proficiency in French and English are also essential.
