About the Role

This is a senior financial role that requires expertise in strategic finance, performance management, and stakeholder engagement. As the Finance Manager for Scandinavia, you'll be responsible for driving decision support, providing strategic insights, and leading reporting initiatives.

Salary Range: £90,000 - £110,000 per annum

The successful candidate will have a strong commercial background, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate complex financial information effectively. You'll work closely with the Scandinavian Leadership Team to develop and implement financial strategies that align with the company's objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive Decision Support: Utilize data to identify trends and performance opportunities across customer types and sales channels.
  • Provide Strategic Insights: Offer commercial finance input to align sales, margin, and cost forecasts with the Group's objectives.
  • Monitor Performance: Oversee performance against forecasts, delivering accurate and realistic commentary, including risk analysis and root cause assessments for key variances.
  • Lead Reporting Initiatives: Collaborate with the Operational Accounting SSC in the UK to ensure accurate cost management.
  • Forecast and Budget: Translate functional objectives into robust financial plans and KPIs, ensuring clarity and relevance in all management information.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA, or equivalent) with significant finance experience in a fast-paced, professional environment.
  • Senior Management Expertise, with a proven ability to build strong relationships at all levels, fostering collaboration in both junior and senior teams.
  • Stakeholder Engagement within matrix structures, adept at managing internal and external relationships.
  • Effective Financial Communication, able to distil and present key financial insights to management and broader teams.
  • Strong Commercial Acumen, with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on opportunities that drive commercial success.
