Flying Tiger Copenhagen is seeking a highly skilled Product Assortment Strategist to join our dynamic merchandising team in Copenhagen, Denmark.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity to drive business growth and profitability by developing strategic merchandising plans that maximize sales and minimize inventory levels. As a Product Assortment Strategist, you will be responsible for analyzing market trends, consumer behavior, and sales data to inform your decisions.
Main Responsibilities- Drive the open-to-buy process for individual categories to ensure consistent delivery of key performance indicators such as sales, margin, inventory turnover, and GMROI.
- Oversight of campaign build and assortment planning processes to ensure campaign volumes consistently meet budgetary targets.
- Collaborate with the Category Director to manage financial governance and processes related to ordering, forecasting, inventory flow, markdowns, and pricing.
To succeed in this role, you will require:
- 4+ years of experience in merchandise planning from a high-volume retailer.
- Expertise in Microsoft Excel advanced analytics functions: formulas, pivots, macros, etc.
- Analytically savvy and insatiable about data.
- Fantastic communicator and delegator with a high acumen for stakeholder management.
Flying Tiger Copenhagen offers a competitive salary of approximately €60,000 - €80,000 per year, depending on experience, as well as excellent benefits and opportunities for professional growth.
