Principal Research Scientist for ADME and DDI

Lundbeck A/S, H is seeking a Principal Research Scientist for ADME and DDI to join our Department of Drug Metabolism. The successful candidate will be responsible for evaluating the DDI risk of Lundbeck development compounds, including close collaboration with colleagues in Clinical Pharmacology and managing studies such as enzyme reaction phenotyping, enzyme inhibition, enzyme induction, and mechanistic studies.

The ideal candidate will have a PhD in biochemistry, pharmacy, or chemical engineering and experience within enzymology of major drug metabolizing enzymes, inhibition kinetics, and design of in vitro DDI studies. You should also have hands-on experience with in vitro DDI assays, LC-MS, and PBPK modeling and simulations. Additionally, you should have experience with DDI guidelines and preparation of regulatory summary documents.
